The Show offers a host of interesting and absorbing displays and attractions for every member of the Family of every age, the following attractions are correct as of 15.05.2013.

• First public running of part of the rolling stock from the Oswestry Machine Rail Project - Monorail Collection. This is the biggest collection of British Heritage Monorail, consisting of a complete industrial monorail system, unique monorail system, unique monorail steam engine with carriages and narrow gauge fun engines. The Oswestry Machine Rail Project consists of a group of enthusiasts who have relocated the famous Richard Morris Monorail Collection from Blaenau Ffestiniog to the Oswestry area to continue the restoration. It is hoped that this first public outing for the collection will arouse the enthusiasm and help of other volunteers in the Oswestry area and further afield, to save this unique part of industrial heritage. The Dyffryn Tanat & Region Development Trust is supporting projects in the Tanat Valley and Oswestry area. Their objectives for the Oswestry Machine Rail Project include the restoration, maintenance and continuing preservation of the Rail Machines Collection with Oswestry as its home base, with some funding in the pipeline thanks to the local Councils. |
• Historical Re-Enactment Group - 'House Of The Black Star' are a medieval re-enactment society covering Historical period of 1240 to 1350 and it is their primary goal to provide accurate combat displays as well as a glimpse into the life of a medieval household. Usually operating from Whittington castle, found on the Shropshire Borders, between Oswestry and Llangollen. For both days of the show the group will be performing in the Show Ring, but will also have an encampment within the Showground. You are invited to visit this area at any time either day. |
• Clwyd Special Riding Centre (Riding For The Disabled) will perform in the Show Ring each day, and will also be available to chat to visitors at other times in their holding area close to the Ring. |
• A Fun Dog Show by North Clwyd Animal Rescue, Trelogan, Flintshire. There will be a small charge for your dog to take part. The Rescue Centre will also have a stall on the Showground that can be visited at any time during the day. |
• Mechanical Attractions include: Traction Engines and Steam Rollers, Vintage and Classic Tractors, Vintage and Classic Commercial Vehicles, Vintage Military Vehicles, Buses and Fire Engines. Vintage and Classic Cars, Vintage Caravans, Vintage and Classic Motor Cycles. Vintage Cycles. Vintage Horticultural, Garden Machinery, Horses and Horse Drawn Vehicles, Farm Implements and Stationary Engines. |
• Undercover Craft Displays and Merchandise include: Jewellery, Decoupage on Slate, Sign-writing, Confectionary, Painting on Slate, Decoupage Cards, Card Craft, Flowers Gifts & Cards, Country Wines, Wood Turning, Painting, Knitting, Candles, Ribbons & Flowers, Salt Dough Plaques, Wood Gifts, Decorated Eggs etc. |
• Undercover Models Section: Old Tools & Toys, Model Steam Trains & Fire Engines of The World, Meccano Models, Scammell Showtrac and Fairground Models. Collections of Die Cast Models, Antique Horse Brasses, Model Tractors, Steam Models, Model Trucks and Buses plus other items of interest. |
• Miscellaneous Outside Displays: Nautical Display, Mamod Steam Models, Collections of Oil Cans and Grease Guns, Agricultural Hand Tools and Fairground Organs. |
• Refreshments: Whittington WI Teas and Delicious Cakes (Undercover). Burger and Hotdog Stalls. Beef and Pork Bap Stands. Real Lemonade. Ice cream Vans. Undercover Licensed Bar.

• Trade Stands: Auto-jumble, Tractor Spares, Auto-care Products, Tools, Lubricants, Paint and Spraying Equipment, Books, Models, Bric-a-brac, Clothing, Confectionary and a host of other items. |
